Job Description

- Our Graphic Designers work independently, partnering with other Designers and Marketing professionals to understand and translate the client’s vision and design a variety of deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Develop graphic covers, templates, layouts, and supporting graphics for marketing pursuits
- Create presentations, aerial map exhibits, and multimedia graphics
- Create tailored, print and digital brochures as well as conference/event graphics
- Design digital campaigns for external recognition/pursuits
- Thrive as part of a large, creative, and specialized marketing team
- Partner with engineers, project managers, and technical staff
- Serve as a brand advocate for Kimley-Horn and the client’s visual guidelines
- 2+ years of corporate and/or agency experience
- Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or similar
- Proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite (Kimley-Horn is a PC-based company)
- Ability to use InDesign software for layout of complex documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A positive, collaborative, solution-seeking attitude, and a high sense of personal responsibility
- Desire to learn new skills, manage tasks and teams, participate in process improvement
- Flexibility to periodically work outside normal business hours as needed
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle simultaneous, varied assignments while providing consistent quality and accuracy
- Willingness to travel in support of remote projects and teams
