      Description

      Our Client is a mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, security, energy conservation and commissioning consulting engineering firm, located in Seattle, Washington. We serve eight-core markets – educational, correctional, civic/municipal, commercial, high-technology, healthcare, retail and mixed-use - spanning the public and private sectors on a local, regional, national and international level. As a trusted advisor to Fortune 100 and 500 global companies and value-based public institutions, the marketing team delivers collateral reflective of the caliber of clients we serve. We work closely with the internal technical teams to translate complex ideas into consumable language, aesthetics, and media for strategic intent. The end product is a well-crafted piece that accentuates the team's strengths and aligns with firm values. As the team’s graphic designer, you will be an instrumental contributor to evolving our visual messaging. Working closely with senior leadership, you will influence the array of assets the marketing team produces: • Brochures that promote business development • Presentations that demonstrate expertise • Media that educates and informs • Native graphics that distinguish communication aptitude We’re looking to you to: • Develop and design visually appealing graphics for digital and print media • Conceptualize new ideas based upon team input • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for various platforms • Create and maintain brand consistency across all design projects • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and complete tasks according to deadlines • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns Job Requirements • Willingness to learn, teach, and communicate across multiple teams within the firm • Solid technical design, layout, and production skills across marketing media (web, social, digital, print) • A keen eye for detail and ability to review layouts and integrate content with visuals • An understanding of typography and technical typesetting skills • Photography post-production skills • Self-motivated and enthusiastic to learn • Ability to listen, take direction and ask clarifying questions • Respond effectively and positively to changing priorities; adapt accordingly with effective multi-tasking • Ability to work additional time as needed

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Associate’s degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in marketing, art or related field preferred • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign as minimum Premiere/ AfterEffects a plus)

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
