- Conceptualize and create compelling, cohesive graphics and visual content for digital and print channels that can communicate complex information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project objectives, target audience, and overall goal.
- Serve as an expert on client’s marking and branding guidelines and ensure adherence on all project deliverables.
- Design and lay-out long-form publications such as annual reports, white papers, and technical deliverables.
- Contribute design elements to presentations, fact sheets, and tailored products for specific topics or geographies.
- Develop brochures, banners, signs, and marketing collateral.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- At least 5 years of graphic design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, marketing, communications, or related field
- Advanced design skills and experience developing infographics using Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, and/or Canva
- Experience with document and publication layout and design
- Familiarity with and skill in improving the design/layout of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word documents, PowerPoint presentations) and Google Docs and Google Slides
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with a global team, working across time zones and cultures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and perform numerous tasks simultaneously
- Motivated and energetic self-starter with a positive, inclusive, and creative outlook
- Demonstrated experience working with communications and technical teams to successfully translate ideas and concepts into compelling visual designs
- Fluency in English (reading, writing and presentation skills)
- Digital photography
- Video production and/or editing
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in delivering designs
- Familiarity with digital marketing trends and design for various platforms is desired
- Experience working in international development, energy, and/or environment sectors
- No direct reports
- Hybrid work environment, with a combination of in-person and remote work
- International travel may be required
