      About the role

      The Graphic Designer provides specialist design advice and services in the development of communication and publication material to contribute to design and brand consistency across all IPART engagement activities.

      • Take visual and graphic design projects from concept through to finished art to showcase the initiatives of IPART and assist in achieving its strategic and business objectives.
      • Prepare layouts or mock-ups of videos and designs using illustration, text, photography, colour, and computer-generated imagery; present designs for review and approval to ensure designs are appropriately targeted and meet IPART’s requirements.
      • Promote the use of set templates to ensure consistency across IPART and operate as a help desk function to provide advice or troubleshoot issues with formatting of reports.
      • Work closely with the industry teams to understand their business requirements and develop the required promotional and engagement material to support their projects.
      • Support the production of all print collateral, including sizing, materials, colour matching, finishing, sampling, pre-press approvals, and final sign-off to ensure that print collateral are accessible, compliant, and meet business outcomes.

      About you

      We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives on delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes and with a level of autonomy. You will be highly efficient at time management to address multiple priorities and unforeseen issues. You will also be articulate in explaining design-related requirements to stakeholders.

      Previous similar experience in graphic design and production is essential, as well as relevant qualifications in design, communications, or a related field. A genuine interest in keeping up to date with NSW government policies, processes, and legislation will assist you in this role.

      The salary range for this role is $ 109,806 to $118,735 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
