      $64,584.00 PER YEAR

      GENERAL PURPOSE

      The purpose of this position is to collaborate with the sales directors, store directors, and the marketing team to produce timely, effective, and targeted marketing material to achieve company goals. This person will collaborate with internal colleagues to bring designs to life, provide design concepts, and incorporate team feedback to take part in the development and execution of Harmons designing and advertising materials for the use in print, on the web and other various media platforms.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      · Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures

      · Builds the Harmons brand and represents the voice of the customer

      · Contributes to the production of weekly ads including adhering to a workflow process, production schedule, and providing input on creative direction.

      · Offer design expertise and input to assignments, ensuring that all work is produced on time, within budget, and to Harmons’ brand standards

      · Contribute to the creation and production of graphic design across multiple media including print, digital, and apparel.

      · Collaborates with marketing, advertising, and other internal departments in brainstorming sessions and making innovative suggestions

      · Maintains current working knowledge of software and programs to remain in step with technology and design software.

      · Keep on task and track performance against project goals

      · Teaches, mentors and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team

      · Provides honest, direct and constant feedback to associates regarding their performance and areas of improvement

      · Sets a professional and positive example to others

      · Assists as needed to ensure the success of the graphic design department as a whole

      MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      · Performs other job-related duties as assigned

      TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:

      A high school diploma or GED and 2-4 years in marketing or graphic design. Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant experience, education, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

      · Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, etc.

      · Excellent project management skills

      · Creative with the ability to make designs from scratch and work within deadlines

      · Ability to collaborate with team members conceptually, contributing to overall creative direction

      · Attention to detail

      · Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions

      · Excellent organization and planning skills

      · Ability to interpret policies and procedures

      · Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with customers and fellow associates

      · Ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict

      · Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success as well as the success of your team

      · Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons’ mission and commitment to working collaboratively

      Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires standing, walking and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to occasionally maneuver objects weighing up to 20 pounds from location to location
