What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in operationalizing and maturing the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, business partners, and leadership to evaluate and address information security issues
- Develop remediation and mitigation plans for audit findings, control gaps, and policy violations
- Establish security policies, controls, and compliance foundations in coordination with various stakeholders
- Monitor the controls environment and ensure adherence to established frameworks and regulatory requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or an information security-related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an information security governance, risk, and compliance role
- Fundamental knowledge of information security legal and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, FIPA, and PCI-DSS
- Basic technical knowledge in areas such as network, operating systems, databases, identity management, and cloud security
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize information for clear recommendations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with industry-standard enterprise Governance, Risk & Compliance solutions
- Certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CSX-P, or CAP
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, or HITRUST
