What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operationalize and mature the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and business leaders to address information security issues
- Develop remediation and mitigation plans for audit findings, control gaps, and policy violations
- Establish security policies, controls, and compliance foundations in partnership with various stakeholders
- Assist in evaluating and developing processes and security awareness programs to reduce risk
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in an information security risk management role
- Knowledge of information security legal/regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, FIPA, and PCI-DSS
- Intermediate technical knowledge in network, operating system, database, identity management, and cloud security
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize information for clear recommendations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with industry-standard enterprise risk assessment and management solutions
- Certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CSX-P, or CAP
- Proven ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying and interpreting enterprise risks
