Quantity and Alignment: Jobs created align with Denver’s sustainability priorities
Work directly with green workforce awardees to provide on-going support and guidance to ensure programs align with CASR’s workforce vision
Perform specific administrative duties for green workforce programs including running check-in meetings, processing invoices, and administering contracts for compliance
Gather and evaluate program data to accurately track job seeker employment and training outcomes, business, and community partner relationships.
Coordinate with CASR's Communications Team to develop marketing, communication materials and outreach strategies.
Consult with education programs, apprenticeship programs, contractors, and industry to identify gaps and needs
Through ongoing education, research, and member relations, become a recognized resource on industry workforce development challenges and opportunities.
Represent CASR at career-focused events, various workshops, seminars and other employment related activities.
Communicate with representatives of various city agencies, community and business groups, the public, and other stakeholders in a professional and clear manner.

Experience with positions connected to workforce development or education and training, and human services.
Experience in program development, coordination, and evaluation.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Highly motivated, with a demonstrated track-record of thinking critically about your work and a relentless drive to improve
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders as well as ability to work effectively with people at all levels
Flexible, nimble, and willing to do what is needed to support the team
Demonstrated ability to deliver results by creating a shared vision and enabling others to act
A proven ability to work with a diverse team, creating an atmosphere of trust and inclusiveness
Experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities, including under-represented communities in the consideration of impacts and outcomes of a decision-making process.
An ability to work with representatives from a variety of City agencies and external organizations in a collaborative manner.
An understanding of the concepts of institutional and structural racism and bias and their impact on under-resourced communities, along with the desire to incorporate perspectives of multiple communities
Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in a related field based on a specific position(s).
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years’ experience performing full performance professional level duties within a specialized, functional area. (This does not include clerical experience.)
Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.

What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $70,000 – 85,000. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. CASR employees work in the office at least two days per week. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their out-of-office days.

The Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency’s (CASR) mission is to act with urgency to proactively mitigate climate change. Our objectives are to advance science-based strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on a scale and timeline that align with the recommendations from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, cultivate resiliency in the face of potential climate change-related emergencies, secure an economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable city for generations to come, and ensure that the setting of goals and metrics and monitoring of results considers equity.
As the Green Workforce Administrator, you will provide knowledge and expertise to achieve our vision of creating and expanding career pathways and opportunities for individuals from under-resourced communities and enable a just transition to support a climate-resilient and sustainable Denver.
