      What to Expect

      As a Grief Analyst your role is pivotal to our team, you will safely and accurately track grief parts, update their status, facilitate speedy transfer to our teams, and communicate and escalate issues as needed to support uninterrupted production of assembly lines and fabrication work centers.

      **THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT ROLE: 02:00PM - 10:00PM CST**

      Day to Day

      As a Grief Analyst you will t rack incoming parts on the grief file and update their status as they transfer through receiving, inspection, sort, rework, and stocking locations. Facilitate speedy transfer of parts on grief file to point of use once available for receipt. Regularly c ommunicate with supported lines status of grief parts as required to enable production planning. Escalate issues when timely progress is not being made for grief parts being transferred through multifunctional areas to production lines. Maintain awareness of the impact of grief parts on fabrication and assembly lines to aid in escalation and expediting parts from internal and external suppliers. Input velocity events due to missing parts into the MPU database. Assist with root cause identification and corrective action development for material handling related quality and velocity issues.

      Support sorting of blocked parts for segregation of quality issues by completing or cancelling transfers as needed. Coordinate releasing of good parts to meet production needs. Electronically and manually maintain documentation for production. Maintain and track complex SAP and Microsoft Office transactions that correspond to physical material movements or requirements. Take initiative to identify, document, communicate and correct problems, report discrepancies and recommend solutions . Complete projects as needed .

      Required Qualifications for Consideration :

      • Experience and a comfort level operating material handling equipment (i.e. counterbalance, turret, reach, picker). Must document.

      • Experience distributing and managing counts of parts for manufacturing teams.

      • Two years’ experience in supply chain

      • Two years’ experience in Mach 1 / SAP

      Top C andidates W ill H ave:

      • A Two-year degree

      Physical Requirements

      • Operate material handling equipment ( i.e. counterbalance, turret, reach truck, picker) and hand tools

      • Exposure to magnets that may impact medical devices

      • Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes and hoists

      • Lift up to 35lbs frequently

      • Work at multiple heights

      • Work in awkward positions, including forward reach, lateral reach, squat, overhead reaching, twisting, and forward head and rotation of neck.

      • Repetitive grasping, pushing , pulling, rotating

      Work Environment

      • Limited exposure to welding fumes and noise levels of 85db or greater

      • Work in environment with frequently changing temperatures

      • Required Personal Protective Equipment: hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toed/metatarsal foot gear, bump caps and protective material handling equipment including safety/fall harness.

      Compensation: L-02; $19.00HR-21.00HR
