- Experience working in customer service, preferably a retail/grocery environment.
- Able to perform front end duties, practices and procedures within a retail/grocery environment.
- Be self-directed, results oriented, project a positive business image and lead by example.
- Good attention to detail and follow through skills.
- Good customer relations’ skills.
- Meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality and safety requirements.
- Works efficiently with weights, measures, scales and tally unit product retail prices
- Operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner. (Must be 18 years of age to operate certain department equipment.)
- Work hours required. This includes flexible shift schedules, overtime and weekends required.

SCOPE OF POSITION: Reporting directly to the Manager on Duty, unpacks, stocks/restocks, and faces products in grocery department. Assists front end with bagging groceries and transporting groceries or other purchased products to customer’s vehicle.
BASIC FUNCTION: Perform duties necessary to ensure grocery items unpacked, stocked/restocked, and displayed/faced and provides customer support in grocery department and for front-end personnel when called.

EQUIPMENT/TOOLS OPERATED: Proficient skill in operation of carts, baler, ladder, box cutter, non-power pallet jacks.
