- Identify new training needs for existing and new roles within TUI Airline Ground Operations
- Manage the Ground Operations training programme
- Together with the line managers, own and maintain the training matrix for existing roles and new roles in Ground Ops
- Manage the content of the departmental Internal Procedures Manual for training chapters
- Review & manage training content in line with the changing requirements of regulations & standards
- Attend audits when needed to demonstrate our training compliance
- Create and maintain a digital library for Ground Operations with existing & new training content
- Work closely with line managers who are on-boarding new staff to assist in planning and delivery of training e.g. payment of external course, log on credentials for external sites
- Ensure status data is available to line managers & trainees to ensure staff remain compliant in training activities
- Support staff and develop processes in order for training results to be uploaded accordingly
- Manage Dangerous Goods competency assessments with external training provider working in close co-operation with the Ground Handling Specialists in the team
- Action content changes as directed by the Ground Operations Manual Co-ordinator and use the preferred TUI Document Control System tools
- Implement annual regulation content changes into all Ground Operation Manuals e.g. IGOM, IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
- Work with subject matter expert, Nominated Persons and other internal/external stakeholders on content changes
- Create manual temporary revisions to manuals in accordance with the Internal Procedures Manual
- Manage other Ground Operations publications as directed by your manager
- Experience of working Airside in an Aviation Ground Handling capacity
- Training delivery experience with relevant qualification (such as train the trainer)
- Understanding of how to review current training material for suitability and cost and how to source new material
- Well-organised, with strong process management, attention to detail and prioritisation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Creative skills in order to prepare engaging training and manual content
- Good presentation skills in order to deliver basic training courses
- Prior experience of using e-learning tools would be an advantage but not essential
- Prior experience and understanding of XML would be an advantage but not essential
- Innovative and adaptable thinker, accustomed to overcoming challenges in new environments with limited support
- Work under pressure at short notice to create new learning
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting and deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals at all levels of the company and with external parties, with the ability to build trust and productive relationships
- Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, and may involve some international travel

As Ground Ops Training & Manuals Co-ordinator, you will have a joint responsibility for TUI Ground Handling staff training & maintaining all Ground Operations manuals.
You will set up the training framework for a new Ground Operations department, document and manage the processes as well as always driving continuous improvement. Working closely with your colleagues, this role ensures all training is relevant, compliant with regulations & TUI procedures. You will also support the Ground Operations Manual Co-ordinator in maintaining the Ground Operation Manuals (GOM) and ensuring compliance and delivery schedules are maintained for changes to each AOC Ground Operations Manual. The role will have some requirement for training delivery within our Ground Operations function across all 5 AOCs and so some travel will be required (mainly Europe).
We are happy to consider this opportunity on a hybrid working model, in line with local office requirements. In this role, you’ll report to the Ground Ops Regulations & Standards Manager.
