Operating a variety of equipment and tools used in maintaining grounds.
Picking up of litter, trash, and debris, moving boulders, cleaning of culverts and Storm drains.
Maintaining and addressing minor equipment repair.
Mowing and seeding lawns, pruning and planting shrubs and trees, mulching, trimming, and weeding bed areas.
Plowing snow, shoveling, using snow blowers or tractors, sanding and salting.
Office moves and deliveries.
Completing work orders in a timely manner.
Conference service set ups and break downs.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Job duties and responsibilities can change at any time, with or without notice.
Years of relevant or specific experience: One to two years’ experience in lawn care and snow removal practices.
Academic Degree(s) and/ areas of study: High School diploma or equivalency
Equivalent of experience in lieu of degree acceptable: ☒ Yes ☐ No
Professional Certification(s): N/A
Knowledge and experience in the use of heavy and light grounds equipment operations.
Ability to repair minor equipment as needed.
A Valid NH driver’s license and successfully pass a motor vehicle driver check.

This position is based in the following office location:
Manchester, NHThe opportunity
As a Groundskeeper, you will help with the upkeep of university grounds, including grooming lawns, pruning shrubs and trees, snow removal, trash pickup, office moves, and minor equipment repair.
Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST
*Training schedule for first month in role will be Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST
