      Shift:7am-4pm must be able to work weekends, holidays, and late evenings.

      This position will be responsible for performing general maintenance as well as duties associated with planting and maintaining shrubbery and grounds maintenance to include seasonal planting and tree removal. Will work with other resort staff and contract staff as well.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

      • Perform daily tasks such as weeding, mulching, trimming and tree removal, mowing and basic facility inspections for deficiencies and debris. Use and upkeep of heavy machinery is required
      • Maintain expectations for all grounds area while upholding standards set forth by the company. Report grounds conditions and general issues that don’t comply with our standards
      • Inspect common areas to prep for the day’s activity
      • Occasional chemical applications for nuisance weed and pest control
      • Work with other resort staff and vendors as necessary and perform other duties as assigned

        EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

        • High school diploma or equivalent
        • Landscape maintenance experience preferred

        CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

        • Must have a valid driver’s license
        • Any certificates are a plus

        QUALIFICATIONS

        • Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license, and minimum of 1 year of driving experience
        • Must meet company required motor vehicle policy standards
        • Must have knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in grounds maintenance, and ornamental horticulture practices
        • Must have the ability to operate motorized equipment
        • Must have the ability to learn basic knowledge of irrigation and drainage systems
        • Must be able to understand principles and regulations for chemical applications
        • Must be able to learn how to identify and differentiate between plant materials and recognize deficiencies such as disease, nutrient deficiencies, and insect infestations
        • Must have the ability to read and understand product labels for chemicals used
        • Ability to provide excellent customer service
        • Must have open availability and be able to work weekends and holidays
