      Job Description

      Maintains grounds at Hospital. Removes trash and soiled linen from hospital floors. Performs duties of an Environmental Services Aide when required.

      Job Responsibility

      • * Maintains Hospital grounds.Collects and disposes of leaves and refuse.
      • * Shovels snow from sidewalks and driveways and spreads sand or salt to prevent visitors from slipping.
      • * Operates small tractor with attachments for plowing, shoveling and mowing, when required.
      • * Collects and removes garbage.Removes trash, infectious waste and soiled linen from floors and disposes them according to Hospital policy.
      • * Cleans and disinfects trash and linen trucks.
      • * Maintains refuse and usage areas in clean condition.
      • Performs related duties as assigned.

      *ADA Essential Functions

      Job Qualification

      • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
      • Prior related experience, required.
