- Maintain accurate and complete general ledger records for Group entities
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
- Reconcile and substantiate balance sheet accounts
- Assist with monthly Board reporting, including variance and performance analysis
- Monitor and review Group financial performance against budget
- Contribute to consolidated financial statements and external audit deliverables
- Calculate intercompany recharges, reconcile balances, and support compliance with transfer pricing policies
- Liaise with Group Tax and other teams on intercompany transactions
- Assist in enhancing controls and ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies
- 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit
- Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
- Confidence managing your own workload and meeting deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- A proactive and analytical mindset with a drive for quality
- A professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW or equivalent) – or qualified by experience
- Experience preparing statutory or management accounts
- Working knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation
- Experience with finance systems such as Nav, D365 or data tools like Qlik

We’re hiring a Group Accountant to join our Group Finance function based in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career, at a global level, within a high-performing finance team in one of the world’s leading fintech firms.

You’ll play a key part in our financial reporting processes while supporting the full breadth of the Group Finance team’s responsibilities. This is a varied and dynamic role where you’ll build your experience across month-end close, intercompany accounting, and financial analysis.
