- Lead, inspire, develop and motivate your sales team to achieve revenue growth, market share and profitability targets.
- Set budgets and targets for the sales team aligned with Nine Network's Sales Budget and market trends.
- Critically examine performance against agreed targets, measuring sales, profitability and growth.
- Develop and execute a team revenue plan on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Meet with new potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and actively promote Nine Network's products.
- Work cross-functionally with different internal departments to drive revenue and support cross-platform sales initiatives (e.g., Total Audio, Total TV).
- Negotiate volume and share-based client deals for all clients in your Sales Group's portfolio.
- Support Sales Executives to ensure accurate weekly forecasting and presenting these forecasts in Sales Meetings.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow revenue year-on-year.
- Continuously develop knowledge of media markets and consumer needs, identifying how Nine's cross-media advertising solutions address them.
- Recruit, retain and develop sales people, establishing resource and succession plans.
- Present to audiences of senior executives and/or agency stakeholders, both virtually and in person.
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting and business planning, including the ability to execute strategic plans in line with organisational needs and project future performance.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, develop and motivate individuals to build a high-performing team culture.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated strategic leadership capabilities.
- Sound market knowledge of media markets and consumer needs, with the ability to identify how cross-media advertising solutions address them.

Job Description
As a Group Business Manager at Nine within Total TV, you will lead and manage a specific Sales Group, taking accountability for maximising revenue and market share within your defined market.
You'll play a crucial role in business planning, performance measurement and implementing corrective actions. A key part of your role will involve leading, managing, mentoring and coaching your Sales Executives and Sales Coordinators/Account Executives. You'll also be responsible for fostering successful internal and external relationships to ensure commercial success for Nine.
