Are you ready to lead cyber defense for a global technology leader?
We are seeking a forward-thinking Group Head of Cybersecurity to join our Group Security team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the global cybersecurity agenda and lead a team of experts across Malmö, Krakow, and Chennai — shaping the digital defense that protects 65,000 employees and thousands of sites worldwide.

      About the role

As Group Head of Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for safeguarding ASSA ABLOY’s systems, data, and networks from evolving cyber threats. Reporting to the Group CISO, you will manage and continuously evolve our cybersecurity operations, aligning strategy and execution with both business needs and risk posture.

You’ll oversee the global cyber defense function, lead a high-performing international team, and ensure our cyber resilience capabilities meet the highest standards across the enterprise. Your work will have direct impact on our business continuity, customer trust, and digital innovation efforts.

      What you will do

      • Lead and develop the Group Cybersecurity team across multiple locations and outsourced services
      • Own the cybersecurity operations strategy, execution, and budget
      • Deliver proactive threat intelligence, blue/purple team exercises, and real-time incident response
      • Build, optimize, and scale our cyber defense platform with the right sourcing mix (people, tools, automation)
      • Define clear reporting lines and metrics, providing quarterly briefings to executive stakeholders including the Global IT Board
      • Serve as a trusted advisor to Group IT and business leaders, ensuring security architecture, tooling, and processes are effective, scalable, and future-proof
      • Champion a risk-based approach to cybersecurity, integrating with ISO/NIST frameworks and global compliance requirements

      What we’re looking for

      • At least 10 years’ experience in cyber defense, preferably in large, international environments
      • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional and cross-border teams
      • Expert knowledge of modern threat landscapes, security architecture, and defense tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, firewalls, DNS filtering)
      • Proficiency in security standards and frameworks like ISO 27000, NIST, and awareness of digital compliance and legislation
      • Strong communicator who thrives in complexity, with the confidence to influence at senior executive level
      • Fluent in English and Swedish (other languages a plus)

Certifications such as GSOM or equivalent in Cyber Defense Management are highly desirable.

      You are…

      • A strategic thinker with strong execution skills
      • Engaged and self-motivated, with a hands-on attitude when needed
      • A collaborative leader who builds trust and drives clarity across technical and non-technical audiences
      • Able to remain calm under pressure, making clear decisions in high-stakes situations

      Why Join Us?

At ASSA ABLOY, you’ll be part of a global, decentralized organization that combines the agility of local business units with the scale and reach of a multinational.
