Job Description

- Achieve Revenue Targets and Goals for new and existing business as agreed and set out in the Sales Activity Plan.
- Undertake research to identify new potential accounts.
- Identify and generate sales leads for business development from all available channels.
- Maintain a high level of exposure for the Hotel in major segments through a direct sales effort.
- Work to capture a greater market share and increase revenues through local initiatives in conjunction with sales resources.
- Maximize upselling opportunities whenever possible.
- Measure existing and potential business in accordance with the assigned market segmentation.
- Maintain product knowledge at all times, including all relevant rate structures and promotional offers.
- Attend trade shows and represent the hotel at industry related events.
- Showcase the Hotel to both existing and new clients by planning and implementing site inspections.
- Keep up to date with market trends & conditions, competitor developments and customer performance and communicate this information to the DOSM.
- Project a positive hotel image in sales presentations and community activities.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and Letters of Agreement.
Group Sales Manager
Location: Addison, TX, 75001
Skills: The Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel is seeking a Corporate Group Sales Manager to be responsible for assisting the Sales Department in significantly contributing to the sales effort of our hotel as directed, in line with overall financial business mix objectives. We are a AAA rated Four-Diamond hotel with 528 Guest Rooms and Suites and over 100,000 square feet of meeting space, ideal for hosting conferences, award ceremonies, gala events and more. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Corporate markets required for our fast-paced, high volume property. Demonstrated record of success is required with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and meeting sales goals. Must be able to work flexible shifts which may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays. The candidate will also be required to do off property Sales and Networking. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Experience and qualifications required: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Team Player. Attention to Detail. Self-Motivated. Effective Time Management. Proven Track record.
