What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue goals while conducting solicitation calls and sales tours
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with assigned accounts in the Leisure SMERF and Business Travel sectors
- Monitor market trends to inform sales strategies and approaches
- Engage with guests and employees in a courteous and service-oriented manner
- Collaborate with management on special promotions and participate in required meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent required; previous hotel sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective negotiation and sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with strong organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in professional selling skills such as opening, probing, supporting, and closing
- Background in hospitality or hotel management roles
- Familiarity with local community and industry organizations
- Experience in conducting sales tours and client entertainment
- Knowledge of Aimbridge Hospitality’s sales standards and metrics
