5+ years' experience in the same or similar role within the hotel/travel industry preferably within a luxury brand
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ideally Salesforce / Golden Sales & Catering
High degree of independent judgment, entrepreneurial thought, and discretion on decision making
Able to multitask and prioritize workload and projects simultaneously and efficiently in a fast paced environment
Able to travel for periodic sales trips, events, and trade shows
Strong leadership, time management, administrative, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the sales operation, and can evidence having a solid work ethic, good business acumen and a passion for service
Seeking an individual with a proven sales performance record, including developing new clients who offer repeat and/or one-time accounts for property.
The ideal applicant would have a strong knowledge of the complexities of selling and competing with other Southern California hotels and resorts
Responsible for promoting and securing group business based on defined geographic regions and/or key accounts
Travel while conducting sales trips, attend Four Seasons corporate events, participate in tradeshows
Create and maintain meaningful relationships within the designated markets for all relevant clients
Develop individual accounts using information provided by sources such as, but not limited to, the Worldwide Sales Office, Strategic Partner Program, industry contacts, and market intelligence
Conduct webinars and sales presentations to solicit new and existing accounts to generate revenues and strengthen relationships
Conduct site inspection tours of property to meeting planners and other potential customers while informing of all hotel services available; entertain customers on property during site inspections, pre-planning trips, and program operation when appropriate
Communicate group details and work closely with Conference Services and operational departments to setup hotel for successful program operation and execution
Negotiate contract specifics to achieve maximum profitability and hotel interests while satisfying customer needs
Conduct all sales related interactions with the highest level of professionalism while maintaining specified Four Seasons standard
Salary Range: $90,000 - $97,000

What We Expect:
Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is looking for a Group Sales Manager to join our team! A Group Sales Manager is responsible to promote and confirm business for group market in defined geographic region and/or key accounts to ensure quotas and sales goals are met. The Sales Manager generates hotel awareness through direct phone sales, direct sales calls, tradeshows, and networking.
