Join Our Dynamic Rite of Passage Team as a Group Supervisor at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, AZ, a community rooted in a rich agricultural history and known for cultivating growth both in its fields and in the lives of Youth-by fostering positive change and empowerment.
Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by a Farm, Student Housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Cafe, Barbershop and Church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, and athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more), Canyon State has it all!
Pay: $50,000/yr

What you will do: The Group Supervisor exercises direct control and direction over subordinate staff such as Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors, Night Coach Counselors, transportation, etc. as assigned in the safety, care and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program. The Group Supervisor's duties include participation and authority in decisions involving processes to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, promote, discharge, assign, evaluate performance, reward or discipline other employees and program delivery.
This role requires compassion, consistency, and a commitment to empowering youth to succeed.
To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Have experience in a supervisory role. ~ 1 year of working in a child welfare or agency setting ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule: Two Shifts
A Shift Days – Sunday to Every other Wednesday 8a-8p or 8a-9p *1 hour break each day*
B Shift Days –Every other Wednesday to Saturday 8a-8p or 8a-9p *1 hour break each day*
