ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Growth Strategy Analyst to drive new member acquisition for ButcherBox. This role requires someone with a strong analytics background who can partner closely with business partners to identify high potential opportunities and evaluate their performance. This includes analyzing data to identify growth opportunities, developing and testing hypotheses, and implementing campaigns to drive user acquisition and engagement. The Growth Strategy Analyst will also be responsible for tracking and analyzing the performance of growth campaigns, and for providing insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with paid media and knowledge in analytics platforms and languages.
Our marketing and commercial teams embrace a hybrid model that provides personal flexibility as well as in-person collaboration. The ideal candidate will find value in coming to our Watertown office twice per week for face-to-face strategy sessions, taking the occasional meeting on a walk around the river trails, and of course Taco Tuesday!
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Be the expert on & analyze various areas to unlock opportunities, assess tests, & advise strategy. These areas will include Site/Funnel data, Digital channel data (Facebook, Google, Affiliate, etc.), Lead/email flow data, and Non-digital/awareness channels (TV, Radio & Podcasts, OOH)
•Maintain and iterate upon existing reporting suite
•Support the growth team in designing, analyzing, & reporting on tests that lead to action-biased results & future iterative tests for channel optimization, creative, & audience targeting/segmentation
•Improve our attribution/media mix methodology through a combination of analysis, lift/incrementality tests, & internal data resources
•Deeply understand our new member journey – how it is impacted by our marketing strategy and how we can improve it (predictive LTV, LTV:CPA, etc.)
•Track and analyze the performance of growth campaigns, and provide insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that growth efforts are aligned with overall business goals
•Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in growth marketing
QUALIFICATIONS
•Experience in paid media/channel management and growth marketing landscape.
•Strong data analysis skills; proficiency in SQL, experience with Google Analytics, PowerBI
•Excellent ability to translate technical analysis into tangible, actionable takeaways and reporting
•Desire for learning in a fast paced, hands on environment
•Understanding of performance marketing measurement, such as incrementality testing, multi-touch attribution, and media mix modeling
•Collaborative mindset with capability to juggle many projects and priorities with exposure to senior leadership
•2+ years of experience in a paid media/analytics role
