The Olana is seeking a dedicated and guests-centric Guard House Attendant during wedding ceremonies and events. This part-time position requires 4-10 hours of work per week, primarily on weekends with some occasional weekdays. The ideal candidate will welcome and greet each arriving guests while directing them to the appropriate areas of the venue.
Compensation: $16.00 (hourly PT)
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the entrance and exit points to ensure guest safety and security.
- Greet wedding guests and direct them to the ceremony and reception locations.
- Verify guest lists and assist with access control as needed.
- Maintain a welcoming, professional and vigilant presence at all times.
- Address any security concerns or issues that may arise during the event.
- Collaborate with wedding planners and venue staff to ensure a smooth flow of guests.
- Assist in emergency situations and follow established safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and assertive in high-pressure situations.
- Must be available to work weekends and flexible hours.
- A professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be able to stand 2-4 hours at a time.
