      The Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist (Maternity Cover) to join the Front Desk team!

      We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist (Maternity Cover) wanting to assist in ensuring all our guests have a wonderful stay at the world leading hospitality company Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel.

      As the Front Desk Receptionist (Maternity Cover) you will…

      • Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
      • Confidently all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
      • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
      • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
      • Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
      • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

      • Strong Communication skills & interpersonal skills
      • Excellent level of spoken and written English

      • Able to work independently and within a team
      • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
