Job Description

- Prepares rooms for guest arrival and responds to guest requests.
- Stocks room attendant’s cart.
- Strips and remakes beds with fresh linen.
- Vacuums and sweeps carpets and floors.
- Mops floors.
- Dusts and cleans room decorations, appliances, and structural surfaces.
- Cleans showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items.
- Wipes mirrors and all vanity fixtures.
- Removes used guest amenities and trash.
- Replenishes guest amenities and supplies.
- Inspects rooms.
- Reports lost and takes found articles to appropriate personnel.
- Reports maintenance problems to appropriate personnel.
- Maintains storage rooms and stocking carts.
- Records room status on work assignment sheets.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques, and standards.
- Skill in using cleaning equipment, products, techniques, and standards.
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions thoroughly.
- Ability to identify and correct unsafe practices and conditions.
- Ability to understand and follow procedures to handle and store chemicals properly as well as maintain log of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to stand 100% of the time, bend from the waist, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime, as needed.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid non-gaming license.
- One (1) year Guest Room Attendant experience.
