      Guest Services Representative (PRN)
      Location: Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center

      Schedule: PRN - Covering Day, Night, & Weekend Shifts

      As a Guest Services Representative, you’ll be the first warm, caring presence patients and visitors encounter. You set the tone for a remarkable experience by providing compassionate support, clear communication, and a safe environment.

      Responsibilities

      • Welcome and assist patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and empathy

      • Provide directions and communicate current hospital policies clearly and courteously

      • Monitor visitor control and maintain oversight of assigned areas to ensure safety and security

      • Respond quickly and effectively to guest concerns, providing immediate service recovery when needed

      • Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support hospital operations

      • Maintain a strong understanding of hospital services and facility resources to guide guests confidently


      Qualifications

      • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
      • Experience: One to two years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting; preferred.
      • Licensure/Certification: Valid state drivers license at facilities where Valet assistance may be needed, required.
      • Additional Skills Required: Presents self in a professional manner and possesses strong customer services skills. Ability to converse with people of diverse backgrounds and all levels of authority. Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to function independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must possess excellent organizational and time-management skills. Able to use de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and have proficient typing skills.
      • Additional Skills Preferred: Be a current notary public or be willing to become a notary, if needed.
