      The Guest Services Representative will work games and events at TD Place and Lansdowne to ensure each and every fan and guest has an exceptional experience!

      What you’ll do:

      • Opportunities to work as a Guest Services Representative include: Usher, Gate Usher, Merchandise, Information Booth Attendant, AODA Team, Kid’s Zone Team, Elevator Attendant, Dispatch, Team Lead, and Event Supervisors. Additional skills and training are required for some positions and are filled based on the candidate’s ability and the department’s operational requirements;
      • Welcoming guests in a polite and friendly manner;
      • Assist guests with entering TD Place and navigating around the Lansdowne site;
      • Guide and direct guests to designated areas;
      • Checking and scanning tickets and directing guests to their seats;
      • Informing guests about the location of the restrooms, refreshments, exits, and other key areas;
      • Answering questions and resolving any issues brought up by guests;
      • Assisting guests with disabilities or other impairments, as needed;
      • Support customers in locating merchandise;
      • Product knowledge pertaining to all event merchandise;
      • Maintain merchandise kiosk/store in presentable fashion;
      • Enforcing event rules and relevant health and safety regulations;
      • Providing guidance and assistance in emergency situations.

      • Flexible attitude, accountable, and a team player;
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
      • Highly organized and attentive to detail;
      • The ability to manage crowds and remain calm in stressful situations;
      • The ability to apply training to problem solve in the moment;
      • The ability to stand for extended periods;
      • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays;
      • Candidates must be available to work during key events, including the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship (December 26 2024 to January 5, 2025) and the Ottawa Christmas Markets (November 25, 2024 to January 5, 2025).
      • POS experience is an asset;
      • Valid Smart Serve Ontario certification;
      • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
