      Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center
      Schedule: Week 1 - Wed, Thu (12PM - 12AM) Sat (7A - 7PM) | Week 2 - Sun (7AM - 7PM) Thu, Fri (12PM - 12AM)

      At Novant Health, we’re looking for a warm, service-focused Guest Services Representative to be the welcoming face for patients and visitors at key hospital entry points.       Responsibilities

      • Serve as the initial welcoming presence at the emergency department entry point

      • Provide clear directions and communicate hospital guidelines and policies effectively

      • Manage visitor control and maintain oversight of assigned areas to ensure safety

      • Respond promptly to guest concerns and provide immediate service recovery as needed

      • Perform various clerical duties to support hospital operations

      • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hospital services and resources to assist guests confidently


      Qualifications

      • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
      • Experience: One to two years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, preferred.
      • Licensure/Certification: Valid state drivers license for facilities where v alet assistance may be needed , required.
      • Additional Skills (required): Presents self in a professional manner and possesses strong customer services skills. Ability to converse with people of diverse backgrounds and all levels of authority. Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills. Comfortable in patient care areas, including the inpatient and emergency departments. Ability to function independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Able to provide prompt and quick service recovery for patient and visitor complaints. Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must possess excellent organizational and time-management skills. Able to use de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, have proficient typing skills and familiarity with scheduling programs.
      • Additional Skills (preferred): Be a current notary public or be willing to become a notary, if needed.
