- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Clean guest rooms and suites following the established procedures and Four Seasons standards.
2. Adhere to the established standard of safety, fire regulations, and department procedures and policies.
3. Able to utilize Rex – HotSOS to be advised of assignments and/or any computerized applications.
4. Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
5. Complete work assignments from the Housekeeping Department as assigned using required keys, equipment, supplies, etc.
6. Remove all garbage and recyclable items and place in the appropriate bins inside the service area.
7. Offer assistance to any guest in a courteous and friendly manner.
8. Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
9. Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
10. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
11. Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, pens, etc.
12. Prepares assigned rooms for turndown guests.
13. Clean and maintain all terraces of the hotel.
14. Execute all room attendant duties in occupied rooms, turndown rooms and check-out rooms as assigned.
15. Clean and maintain the main guest entrance area and adjacent plaza area including but not limited to removal of cigarette butts, trash, snow, leaves etc.
16. Comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Housekeeping duties.
17. Report to work on time. Is aware of schedule at all times and if unable to attend work, notifies the Supervisor in adequate time as per Four Seasons policy.
18. Adhere to meal break policy and proper payroll procedures.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Report any damages or repairs and maintenance needed to Housekeeping.
2. Report any items found in check-out units to Security and Housekeeping, adhering to the Lost and Found policy.
3. Remove room service trollies, plates, glassware, etc. from guest floors/units.
4. Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the area of House Attendant. - Be part of a cohesive team with opportunities to build a successful career with global potential

The Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is looking for a Guestroom Attendant who fully embodies our values, shares a passion for excellence, and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. As Guestroom Attendant, you will be accountable for shaping the client experience by providing exceptional service in support of our world-renowned hotel. This position reports to the Housekeeping Management Team.

Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Room Attendant ensures the cleaning and supplying of guest units and the comfort of all guests as set by the Four Seasons procedures and standards. Also will comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Housekeeping duties.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for individuals who have a knowledge of housekeeping with good communication skills. Applicants are required to have physical mobility as lifting, walking, bending and moving objects up to 50 lbs. Speaking, writing and reading English is required. Positive attitude and willing to learn is must. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
