  Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer

  We are currently seeking a Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer to join our team in Coppell, TX. You will be helping solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

  What You Will Do:

  • Provide technical leadership and development of Insurance Claims system projects.

  • Devise or modify technical solutions to solve problems.

  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs.

  • Collaborate with IT management, project or maintenance team members and other team members to evaluate, design, and provide technical solutions that support the MRM strategy and otherwise contribute to the delivery of cost-effective business solutions.

  • Act as an internal technical mentor and consultant.

  • Be a key IT technical contributor on emerging technologies used for the internet, intranet, or internal applications.

  • Develop sound, cost-effective applications to achieve customer needs.

  What You Will Need:

  • Prior experience with Guidewire is excellent, particularly if you’ve worked with ClaimCenter and Integration Gateway doing integration and configurations.

  • You have experience with Java, Javascript, SQL, Gosu, or any other modern language for coding new features and React or Node.js to work on digital apps. Ability to use API frameworks such as Mulesoft or Apache Camel to build APIs would be a plus.

  • In this role, you will sometimes be on-call to support production. You’ll triage any tickets that come in, troubleshoot, fix bugs, and review logs to get to the root cause of any issues.

  • You have worked previously with an Agile team or understand these concepts. You can expect to participate in daily standup meetings, you’ll complete your projects or stories during our sprints, and you’re ready to meet frequent deployment deadlines.

  • Integration with different web services is a key component of this role, so your understanding of SOAP and REST webservices will be helpful.

  • You’re comfortable speaking and presenting in front of 20 or more people and are willing to participate in overall team collaborative events. You are able to clarify and explain complex technical concepts to others who may be less tech savvy than you.

  You must be within driving distance of our offices in Los Angeles or Costa Mesa, CA, or Coppell, TX, to attend occasional meetings and team collaboration.
