      We are looking for a forward-thinking, collaborative and resourceful Guidewire Rating Enablement Intermediate Business Analyst to be a member Delivery Management team. You will work closely with the business partners to implement rate program changes directly in Guidewire Policy Center. The candidate will bring both business and system knowledge together in the analysis and implementation of rate changes and corporate projects.

      What you’ll do

      • To carry out, start to finish, independently and efficiently, a number of rate programs and/or enhancements into Guidewire Policy Center Rating. It includes product model changes, rate table updates, testing and co-ordination with other departments.
      • To support product and rating team as a Scrum Master, responsibilities include sprint/release management, JIRA management, user stories estimation and stakeholder management proficiently.
      • Facilitate requirements gathering and validate for accuracy, to define high-level and detailed business requirements documents.
      • Execute planned requirements activities while remaining flexible to changing requirements based on project deadlines.
      • Identify impacts on business processes based on detailed solutions and strategies.
      • Test all changes prior to implementation to ensure quality and accuracy.
      • Approval of plans and timelines for all changes and projects within the team. Be able to provide estimates for all tasks assigned.

      What you’ll bring

      • Minimum 5 years insurance/underwriting experience
      • Prior Business Analyst experience
      • Prior experience working in Agile environment, preferably Scrum Master
      • Solid math skills
      • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Access, JIRA
      • Outstanding problem solving and analytical abilities
      • Strong customer service focus
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Knowledge of algorithmic rating an asset
      • Prior experience working in a project environment an asset
      • College or University Degree
