Lead scheduled gymnastics classes, ensuring sessions begin and end on time.
Teach and demonstrate proper gymnastics techniques to participants.
Prepare all necessary equipment, music, and instructional materials for each class.
Provide assistance and respond to participant questions to enhance the overall class experience.
Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and uphold facility and safety protocols.
Notify management of participant concerns, equipment needs, or facility issues.
Implement and enforce facility policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Gymnastics Coordinator and Facility Manager.
Current CPR certification through the American Red Cross.
Certified Instructor (USAG or equivalent); additional specialty certifications are preferred.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, and gymnastics training principles.
Previous experience teaching or coaching gymnastics, tumbling, or trampoline.
Ability to effectively incorporate music, tempo, and rhythm into instructional routines.
Professional demeanor and the ability to work well independently and within a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
Frequent use of gymnastics equipment and physical activity required.
Must be able to lift and/or spot up to 50 pounds.
May be required to assist or support participants physically during sessions.

Under direct supervision, the Gymnastics Instructor is responsible for leading group gymnastics classes, educating participants on safe practices and proper techniques, and ensuring a positive and safe experience for all. This role plays a key part in maintaining a supportive and enjoyable environment for students of all ages and skill levels.
