  Where would you step in?
  You will sit in either our Boston, MA or Shelton, CT office and will work in a hybrid office/remote/field model.
  
  Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio
  An award-winning landscape architecture, site planning, and urban design studio within Tighe & Bond, serving New England and the eastern United States. Our studio creates timeless, engaging landscapes that are rooted in fundamental design principles and inspired by the dynamics of nature. The studio’s designers bring a unique perspective that, when combined with the expertise of our engineers and environmental specialists, creates more holistic solutions, with an eye to unlocking each site’s potential.
  
  What will you be doing?
  You will be assisting our landscape architecture team with design projects for parks, open spaces, campus and urban environments, municipal spaces, multi-scale landscape infrastructure, and development and remediation projects. You will be developing 3D models, rendering, and producing presentation graphics. You will also be assisting with the preparation of construction drawings/document sets and working with senior designers on a collaborative team.
  
  What do you need?
  You will need to be currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture with at least 2 years of completed course work. You will need to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, a desire to creatively solve design problems, flexibility, a positive attitude, and open mindedness. It would be helpful to have experience using design software, including AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, and/or Lumion.

  Our internships offer students the opportunity to work on real assignments across multiple disciplines, while also directly relating to their coursework. Students are paired with a “buddy” and supervisor, both of which provide day-to-day guidance on projects throughout the summer. We also rely heavily on our internship pool for entry-level full-time openings each year.
  
  Compensation
  The starting hourly range for candidates is: $18-$25 per hour. Your rate is determined based upon completed years of education.
