      The company is a growing textile distribution and manufacturing business specializing in high-quality fabrics and tablecloths for the event and rental industry. With a strong emphasis on vendor relationships and innovative product design, we are now looking for a hands-on financial and operational leader to help drive scalable, sustainable growth.

      Position Overview

      As a hands-on CFO, you'll be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. This is a leadership role responsible for managing and executing financial processes such as bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close as well as budgeting and operational workflows.

      In addition to financial leadership, you will work closely with and supervise the operational and administrative staff, ensuring strong execution, improving efficiency, and supporting company-wide initiatives. This is an ideal position for a roll-up-your-sleeves financial leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is eager to make an immediate impact.

      Key Responsibilities

      Finance & Accounting (Hands-On):

      • Perform and oversee day-to-day financial tasks including bank reconciliations, journal entries, sales tax filings, and month-end close.
      • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
      • Manage accounting operations including AR/AP, payroll, and general ledger.
      • Work with and coordinate with external accountants as needed.
      • Build and maintain internal financial controls and accurate recordkeeping systems.
      • Analyze margins, pricing, and cost drivers to support operational decisions.

      Operations & Administration

      • Optimize business operations, supply chain logistics, and inventory controls.
      • Implement processes and systems to support growth and improve productivity.
      • Manage vendor contracts and relationships for services (e.g., logistics, warehousing, IT).
      • Oversee insurance, HR, legal, and administrative compliance.
      • Supervise and support warehouse, order fulfillment, and customer service functions.
      • Identify process bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
      • Create and implement SOPs for core business activities (inventory, order flow, procurement, etc.)

      Human Resources & People Management

      • Lead HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and team development.
      • Build a strong organizational culture that reflects company values.
      • Implement scalable policies and procedures for employee growth and retention.

      Strategic Leadership

      • Provide financial and operational insights to inform business decisions.
      • Participate in strategic planning, goal setting, and execution with the owner.
      • Build dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs and business health.

      Qualifications

      • Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) – Required.
      • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
      • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
      • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive finance and operations experience.
      • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or product-based company strongly preferred.
      • Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
      • Proven experience in managing small teams and implementing scalable processes.
      • Hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small business environment.
