- Strong working experience in electrical design, including component selection, circuit design, schematic capture, component placement and PCB/flex layout. Successful candidates have the ability to stay organized, execute to a timeline, and produce high quality deliverables
- Great EE fundamentals and analog design working knowledge (DC/DC, power and signal integrity, SPICE simulations) with intuitive skills and a deep understanding of the EE discipline in practice
- Practical knowledge in digital communication protocols (I2C, USB, MIPI, PCI-E, SPI, TDM, PDM)
- Hands-on lab experience in prototype bring-up, debugging and functional validation
- Strong communication, written and verbal interpersonal skills necessary to collaborate with a variety of technical teams at Apple
- Proven experience in taking design from concept to mass production
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

A key factor in this effort is our EE Integration Team. This team is a rapidly growing, diverse group of engineers developing technology integration that defines how users interact with Apple Home products. To help drive this mission, we are seeking an accomplished Electrical Engineer who will own critical electrical designs from concept to productization. This person will be part of a hands-on team that defines the product, collaborates on architecture, and deliver exciting hardware products to our customers.Key QualificationsDescriptionAs an Electrical Engineer in the System Integration team, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams to design EE solutions that meet functional and performance objectives. You will consider multiple architectures, generate block diagrams, capture schematic and BOM, and work with PCB designers to arrive at prototype and mass-production-ready designs. The bring-up and validation plans that you design and implement will ensure the Apple products will be reliably enjoyed by millions of users. Occasionally travel to partner facilities overseas to support engineering build activities will be required.Education & ExperienceBS in electrical engineering or computer engineering required. 3+ years of relevant industry experience focusing on hardware system design.Additional RequirementsPay & BenefitsAbout the company
