- In consultation with the Site Medical Director and HCO Leadership, develops and coordinates staffing plans based on patient volume and access, revenue, and program needs.
- Hires for site-level open positions in accordance with Erie’s hiring policies and in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
- In consultation with the Site Medical Director(s), Senior Director of Operations, and the Vice President Operations, collaborates and monitors the annual personnel, general expense, capital, and grants budgets.
- Ensures the establishment and implementation of registration, charge capture, collection, reconciliation, and audit processes consistent with established business practices.
- Represents Erie Family Health Centers at external events and meetings
- Serves as contact for CPS and community partners
- Coordinates functions and processes with programs/providers, community agencies, local government departments, and funders
- Participates in maintaining an ongoing quality measurement program consistent with continuous quality improvement and assurance principles.
- Maintains an environment of care in accordance with regulatory and licensing standards, in.
- Encourages the use of Erie’s incident report system to support identification of areas in need of improvement.
- Responds to incident reports and patient feedback in one business week or first available opportunity and in adherence to Erie’s patient feedback and incident report guidelines.
- Monitors compliance with contractual requirements.
- In partnership with Site Medical Director, assumes responsibility for site’s outcomes for established enterprise goals to include but not limited to: site visit volume, slot utilization, no show rates and UDS measures.
- Works to support adherence to established best practices related to achievement of enterprise goals.
- Coordinates space utilization with site Medical Director.
- Monitors and adjusts patient flow patterns in consultation with clinical providers.
- Develops and implement policies and procedures appropriate to practice operations.
- In partnership with the Senior Director, Organizes, plans, and executes agency-wide project plans in line with strategic initiatives, budgets, and schedules.
- Responsible for all elements of projects, aiming for timely completion for the site.
- Directly supports and guides people, tasks, schedules and resources through the project lifecycle.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 6 years of progressively responsible leadership experience; OR
- Associate degree or two years of college, with 4 years of progressively responsible leadership experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university with 2 years of progressive leadership experience
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Management experience, including supervisory and financial responsibilities, is required. The years of experience depend on the level of education.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with six (6) years of progressively responsible leadership experience; OR
- Associate degree or two years of college, with four (4) years of progressively responsible leadership experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university with 2 years of progressive leadership experience
- Healthcare and community experience is a plus.

The Manager of School-Based Health Operations is responsible for overseeing all school-based sites, including all operational activities and projects within the building. Plans, directs, organizes, controls, and evaluates the operations of five school-based clinical practice sites, as well as is accountable for budget development and adherence, financial performance, visit volume, and patient satisfaction for the sites’ labor productivity, people development and management practices, quality management, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and achievement of the goals and objectives of the school-based health center(s).
