- Receives and processes received medical information from Program participants
- Inputs received medical information into internal medical database
- Determines work priorities, assigns and schedules work load for the unit or office.
- Develops and refines office policies and procedures.
- Executes a variety of complex clerical duties.
- Organizes own work assignments to contribute to smooth work flow.
- Trains supportive personnel in new procedures and new employees on duties to be performed.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Hiring Range: $21.00
JOB SUMMARY:
To provide advanced clerical skills in the performance of tasks that support business operations.This is a temporary position, lasting approximately 6 weeks.
MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:
*This is a contract position through UTMB Healthcare Systems Staffing (the in-house staffing agency for UTMB). Therefore, no benefits are associated with this position.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
EQUIPMENT:
Standard office equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Standard office environment.
OTHER:
