      About Swiss Re Reinsurance Solutions - Team

      Solutions are services and platforms delivered to clients that lead to new, more, or better business profit generation for Swiss Re that would not happen through our traditional Reinsurance business. Key to the success of this business is our ability to serve/harvest existing clients and win new clients with a scope that extends beyond Swiss Re's traditional reinsurance clients to cover the full scope of all insurance companies and non-insurance partners in adjacent sectors where our risk knowledge can add value.

      About the role

      The successful candidate will be responsible to build and sustainably grow the Solutions' business with our strategic distribution partners in the US. You will identify, develop, and grow Distribution Partnerships for our consulting, technology and data solutions with insurance core system providers, brokers, and consultancies.


      Responsibilities:

      • Deliver the defined sales targets for our Partnership business and implement our go to market strategy in the US
      • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified partner prospects
      • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our value proposition
      • Originate new strategic sales partnerships, growing Swiss Re Solutions' business
      • Negotiate, manage, and close partnership agreements with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets and adjust the course of action as needed
      • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies to improve client outreach and business flow
      • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain accurate records in our systems


      About you

      • 10 years relevant Sales and Origination experience in either financial, technology or professional services
      • Proven history of developing, negotiating, implementing, and successfully growing distribution partnerships at C-suite level
      • Relevant experience and knowledge of insurance technology and the risk management landscape in the US
      • Hungry to generate new partnership business and drive to make bottom-line impact
      • Team-player with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong lead generation skills.
      • Experience in management consulting is a plus

      For Armonk, NY, the estimated base salary range for this position is $143,000 to $246,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
