What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and provide guidance and support to all Housekeepers and Janitors
- Set an example of expected requirements and provide positive leadership to team members
- Complete inventory and order supplies within budget parameters
- Assist Camp Manager with required paperwork for reporting purposes
- Observe and report any needed repairs or damages in the work area
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably within the camps and catering environment
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a senior housekeeping role
- Previous senior housekeeping experience in a 300+ room facility
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in facilities management or a similar industry
- Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and Food Safe standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
