Lead and inspire individuals within the team to achieve their fullest potential
Ensuring bid and project teams use the processes and frameworks available to them to drive successful outcomes
Drive the continued improvement of the function, including responsibility for the local processes in line with Group and UK Policies
Create an inclusive environment across the bid and project management community, which encourages knowledge sharing and creates a high performance and learning culture.
Responsibility for the application of effective reporting and governance of bids and projects, to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction
Contribute to an effective Sales and operations planning (S&OP) process
Extensive knowledge and experience of projects across the full lifecycle
Experience of having worked in highly regulated or complex sectors.
An Individual with a keen analytical mind-set; bringing modern way of thinking about how we can solve problems, with a strong emphasis on data and analytics.
A passion for the development of others
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Extensive stakeholder management capability
An ability to lead teams through change
Certification or membership of a project management professional body would be desirable

This role is based in Crawley with hybrid working – with the expectation of being in the office 3 days per week

Our Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity working across two of our UK businesses – Flight Avionics (FLX) and Training & Simulation (T&S) as part of the Avionics Global Business Unit, as well as contributing to the strategy and direction of the UK Bid & Project Management Function.
This role presents the opportunity to work on both operational and functional axes. This includes driving delivery, producing winning bids as well as leading and developing teams and driving the strategy of the bid and project management function for FLX and T&S UK.
Key tasks/Responsibilities:
