As the Head of Commercial, you are responsible for actively managing and growing a portfolio of accounts through client acquisition, cross-sell and referrals. It is expected that you have a clear understanding of the performance history and future plans of each portfolio is well understood by the relationship manager (account planning) before advice is given to the client. You will collaborate with product partners and other stakeholders to ensure an effective and value adding strategy is identified for the client whilst minimizing all potential risks to ANZ. You will Develop and implement client strategies in conjunction with product partners and relevant parties to identify product and service opportunities. In addition, you will implement an active 'call program' to maintain and development Pipeline opportunities.

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Strong knowledge of financial statement and credit assessment skills incorporation (background of sound business lending)
• Fair level of experience in a corporate/SME or business banking environment
• Demonstrated understanding of small and medium business needs and expectations
• Tertiary qualifications in business related field
