      Join us in this role where you’ll lead the Americas Compliance & Reliability team who are experts in the fields of operational compliance, reliability, critical business requirements, and continuous improvement. The role is new, created by the merging of our onshore and offshore teams. As such, this role is required to build a new and effective compliance and reliability team to ensure regulatory and operational compliance of both the onshore and offshore fleets of generation and remote operation assets.

      You’ll be part of Compliance & Reliability Americas where you, together with your colleagues, will lead large and complex projects and assignments involving multiple departments and stakeholders. You’ll be supporting EPC and Operations in the design, build, and commissioning of all new generation and remote operations centers in the US. The team works with both local and global departments to ensure our assets comply with NERC, ISO, and PUC regulations.       You’ll play an important role in:

      • building an effective Americas Compliance & Reliability team of 11 full-time employees in total, requiring recruitment of external talent as well as the development of existing talent within team
      • ensuring accountability towards NERC and ISO requirements by building and managing a single Internal Compliance Program (ICP) that is required by law
      • internal and external stakeholder management in a global matrix organization as well as establishing strong collaborative relationships
      • representing us on external NERC review board and working groups, furthering the development and integration of wind, solar, and P2X forms of security of supply on our behalf.

      • have a clear vision on the mission in your team relative to the wider organization ambition and can keep everyone on track and motivated
      • can build an effective team and develop talent, being able to create psychological safety within a high performing team that embraces diversity and offers inclusion for all
      • ensure accountability at senior levels within the business, managing stakeholders to good effect when reporting on compliance status, and following up on actions with department heads
      • build and maintain an effective stakeholder network and wield necessary authority within the company to achieve compliance
      • are able to identify business-critical requirements and prioritize accordingly when the team may need to shift direction in the event of a major incident or new standard being introduced
      • are comfortable and proficient innovating in a highly regulated environment, matching the needs of authorities with the capability and our ambition and the way we do things.

      Please note that you’re expected to do some travelling in relation to your work, as you’ll travel internally, primarily to the US, though two annual trips to Europe are also expected.
