      Join us as our Head of Content Marketing & Distribution

      • Build capability to create and deliver the plan for all thought leadership activity for relevant segments across multiple brands
      • Day-to-day, you’ll lead the content production for our Corporate, Institutional and Markets businesses, supporting the strategy and commercial objectives alongside brand objectives

      What you'll do

      As Head of Content Marketing & Distribution, we’ll look to you to lead a team to deliver compelling stories and campaigns that bring to life our products and services, in a way which evidences and underpins our strategy.

      You’ll develop the strategy and plan for content marketing and thought leadership for our Commercial & Institutional (C&I) franchise customers, informed by customer stories, industry events calendar, transaction case studies showcasing innovation and new approaches, market opportunities, key competitor initiatives and those strategic industries and sectors that NatWest chooses to focus on.

      Your top priorities will include:

      • Elevating our thought leadership profile on the franchises’ products and services by proposing new projects aligned to the overall C&I business strategy
      • Interpreting the marketing strategy into a 12 month plan of features, stories, articles and profiles to raise awareness of business leaders, front-office specialist and relationship managers and the broader capabilities of NatWest
      • Production, publishing, distribution and analysis of our marketing content including LinkedIn social media, colleague-powered syndication tools, Subscription Services delivered through Adobe Experience Manager, and corporate events
      • Experimenting with story types and topics, developing best practices, and creating playbooks and toolkits to make our global work more consistent and efficient
      • Using your expertise and insight to make the right decisions, providing strategic content direction to our business leaders
      • Providing advice and insight to business stakeholders on content and thought leadership strategy, including annual business planning and marketing campaigns

      The skills you'll need

      To be successful in this role, you’ll have extensive knowledge and experience of marketing strategies and leadership, including a comprehensive end-to-end understanding of the deal lifecycles for Markets, Institutional and Corporate businesses. You’ll have proven professional experience with a background in economics and finance, ideally investment banking, and media and thought leadership management

      You’ll have a proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively on complex marketing initiatives that add value and support business priorities alongside a high level of drive and a personal commitment to success.

      Furthermore, you’ll need:

      • Demonstrated expertise and experience in data analysis and performance measurement of media or content
      • Strong marketing, communications, and project management experience
      • Great networking and influencing skills
      • Experience in utilising insight and market trends to drive strategy
      • Budget management experience
      • Experience in leading and managing direct reports
      • Experience in marketing across multiple platforms, channels and regions
      • Excellent communication and writing skills
