      Are you a creative leader with an ad agency background, a strong ability to coach and develop a team, and an entrepreneurial drive? The Barn Sweden is looking for a Head of Creative to take one of the best in-house teams in Sweden to the next level, while creating campaigns for well-known food brands such as Arla Ko, Yoggi, Yalla, Svenskt Smör, Keso and Kvibille cheese.

      About The Barn
      The Barn Sweden is part of a global organization that connects us with Arla's in-house agencies in Denmark, England, Germany, and Dubai. We are set up to function like a business within the business. This means we have clients, briefs, and deadlines just like any other agency. We create communication for various channels; from TV and social media campaigns to in-store materials, food inspiration, and the content on the back of our milk cartons. We strive to develop best in class work, have a great team spirit and were honored to be named In-house Agency of the Year 2022. (yay!)

      How you will make an impact

      As Head of Creative you will play a key role in The Barn in Sweden in taking our work to new levels, since creativity is particularly sought-after in the organisation. You will lead a team of seven creatives specializing in both ATL and BTL communication, and set direction for the creative development. You will also step in as a creative in key campaign projects, when needed.

      This role will collaborate closely with Head of The Barn, the Senior Producer/Team Lead and peers in our global Barn organisation.

      Key responsibilities:

      • Being a great leader with people manager responsibilities
      • Drive change and challenge creative height to create memorable campaigns for Arla’s brands
      • Strategic development of our creative offer, from brief to campaign follow up and analysis, based on client needs and business plans
      • Making space for creative work by influencing project planning and set clear creative processes
      • Act as mentor by coaching talents and feedbacking on creative work
      • Ensure insight driven communication in all channels for strong 360 campaigns
      • Take the role of a creative in campaign projects, when needed
      • Inspire stakeholders, share knowledge and build strong relationship with our clients

      In this position you will be reporting to the Head of The Barn.

      What will make you successful

      You have a background as a creative with a passion for leading others, to deliver above and beyond when creating commercial campaigns. You have a strategic mindset, and an ability to make use of the possibilities that comes when being inhouse - working closely with our clients both proactively and long after delivery of our work.

      You are used to having a client facing role and know how to engage and inspire a client when presenting creative concepts. You are not afraid of challenging status quo and thrive when your team is succeeding, getting internal and external credit for great creative work.

      You hold the following qualifications:

      • Ad agency experience with a background in creative direction, strategic copywriting, senior art direction or a similar creative role
      • Team lead experience with a passion for inspiring and further developing others
      • Deep understanding of creative processes and how to build successful teams
      • Strategic marketing sense with a strong interest in insight driven and data driven communication
      • Vast knowledge of 360 communication with a natural interest in tech, digital and social media and can see beyond classic media formats such as film and OOH
      • Strong in pitching, creating cases and share creative work in a compelling way
      • Experience from creating award winning campaigns is advantageous
      • Great communicator, who is approachable, prestige less and a team player
