      About the Role: u00A0
      Sitecore seeks a seasoned and visionary Head of Data to spearhead our Information Technology department. This pivotal role involves overseeing our Microsoft Fabric platform, architecting comprehensive data integrations, and interfacing with business stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will ensure robust data governance, lead a talented team of data engineers, secure our data platforms, and be accountable for the overall data strategy. This position demands a leader with extensive experience in global team management and large-scale data lake implementations, who can communicate the data vision and strategy to leadership, and leverage cutting-edge technologies to propel our data capabilities forward.u00A0 u00A0
      What Youu2019ll Do: u00A0
      • Oversee the Microsoft Fabric platform and ensure its optimal performance and scalability.
      • Architect and implement end-to-end data integrations across various systems and platforms.
      • Interface with business stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions that drive business value.
      • Ensure data governance standards are upheld and continuously improved.
      • Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
      • Secure data platforms and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
      • Lead programs and projects related to data management and analytics.
      • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business goals and drives innovation.
      • Create a robust data foundation for leveraging AI with our enterprise data, enabling data science, predictive analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and opportunities where data can play a critical role.
      • Communicate the data vision, strategy, progress, challenges, and opportunities to leadership.
      • Stay at the forefront of technology trends in the data sector and drive initiatives that leverage new advancements.
      • Develop and maintain a centralized data relationship framework to ensure seamless integration and consistency across all data sources and systems, and to safeguard against data changes in one system disrupting integrations and reporting
      What You Need to Succeed:u00A0 u00A0
      • 10-15 years of experience leading global teams and large-scale data lake implementations.
      • Proven ability to run programs and projects, lead initiatives, and drive technological advancements.
      • Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
      • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and other data integration platforms.
      • Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
      • Visionary mindset with a passion for leveraging data to drive business success.
      Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart u00A0
      • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
      • Certifications in data management, data governance, or related areas.
      • Experience in the IT industry, particularly within a global organization.
