      Head of DEI & Talent for US Personal Banking and Wealth Management is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the global talent and DEI strategy reporting to our Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer & Head of Talent.


      The role will create a strategy and drive execution focus on our ability to Attract, Develop, Engage and Retain a deep and diverse talent pipeline while fostering an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.

      The role will partner and engage with the senior HR advisors and function heads will be critical in the development and execution of the diversity and talent strategy for US Personal Banking and Wealth Management globally. In addition, the role needs to partner with the Talent Acquisition Teams (Campus and Lateral), Learning, and Compensation to gather inputs into the strategy design and delivery.

      Overarching Goals of the Role Include:

      • Build a deep pipeline of leaders at the senior level by focusing on executive talent management, development, and the connection to open roles
      • Facilitate a strong talent management and succession planning process including facilitating talent discussions/talent walls to ensure the identification and development of talent
      • Embed data and insights in all talent and role selection decisions (e.g., assessments, performance, talent designations, etc.)
      • Provide programmatic development and exposure opportunities to key talent to accelerate readiness for new roles
      • Make significant progress toward ensuring the diversity of our communities is represented internally at all levels , with a targeted focus on ensuring representation
      • Create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive , and embed inclusivity into our processes
      • Work closely with Talent Acquisition on all internal mobility and internal career management discussions
      • Work with senior HRAs on the development and execution of a formal diversity and talent plan for their Function

      Responsibilities:

      • Understand the business and market needs, leveraging data and insights to translate them into an executable and impactful global talent management/human capital strategy
      • Provide thought leadership for talent, diversity, development, change management & organizational development
      • Manage the Annual Talent Review Process for US Personal Banking and Wealth Management with a focus on enhancing the overall impact of Talent Designations and Succession Planning Strategies
      • Consult with Business & HR leaders to achieve diversity representation goals and establish strategies to accelerator progress and build upon our inclusive culture
      • Provide cross- functional developmental ideas and programs to advance and deepen the talent pipeline
      • Develop and manage relationships with HR Advisors, business partners and external contacts, delivering high value, best practice solutions
      • Design, implement and communicate key processes related to talent review/succession planning, diversity pipelines and talent development
      • Ongoing communication across the global business to engage all global employees in initiatives, processes and updates
      • Manage and develop a team of Talent and Diversity specialists

      Experience/Skills:

      • 15 plus years of experience
      • Expert with in-depth, up to date knowledge of Talent & Diversity practices and policies, including best practices in the external markets
      • Ability to be both strategic and execution oriented
      • Understanding of the entire Talent life cycle, from initial hiring to senior leader development and the key processes and governance within the cycle
      • Strong data analytics and insight skills
      • Executive presence with ability to lead global partners and appreciate regional differences
      • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationship with business leaders with the ability to influence without authority
      • Effective organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume, complex matrix environment
      • Able to identify, attract, assess and recruit top internal and external talent
      • Creatively thinks about solutions while being flexible and adaptable
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present across various forums and to a broad, diverse audience
      • Innovative leader who inspires team to excel
