      Job Description Summary

      The Head of Field Engagement is responsible for the direction of all field engagement activities to enhance the experience and manage the WFG brand and the relationship with over 70,000 agents and financial professionals in the US and Canada. The role works closely with the President WFG & SVP Transamerica, to execute against strategy, cultivate relationships with field leaders, manage risks, and promote the WFG brand transforming WFG into an even more valuable, key strategic asset for Transamerica.

      Responsibilities

      • Executive ambassador at national and international meetings and events accountable for strengthening relationships and managing and delivering communications with key field leadership and field force. Gather, evaluate, and communicate business intelligence and insights to WFG/Transamerica executives re: new business relationships, distribution communications, and tactical and strategic challenges.
      • Lead key engagement activities: field relations, field development & sales training, agent engagement & experience, and business development to create the reputational brand and agent experience that keeps WFG a premier industry partner to agents and financial professionals.
      • Lead, coach, and mentor employees and teams to achieve goals and targets. Promote and foster employee engagement and well-being by driving collaboration, innovation, and transparency, inclusion and trust across the functions and organization. Build high performing, diverse teams who meet business objectives.
      • Aligned with vision, develop plans to increase field knowledge; enhance policies, programs, and procedures; and implement growth initiatives aimed at increasing agents and financial professionals’ engagement and market share.
      • Drive high quality execution and ensure field protocols, marketing plans, field sales training programs, agent recognition programs, events, promotions, and initiatives are implemented on time, on budget, and with impact that leads to increased engagement, responsible risk management, and positive connection with the field force.
      • Partner with Transamerica Corporate Development on confidential and sensitive business situations impacting the direction of WFG/TFA. Apply expert level knowledge and judgement to diverse and complex situations assessing financial impacts, reputational and market impacts, and feasibility to transact.
      • Serve as a catalyst for change to achieve profitable business results.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
      • 15 years of industry experience, including leadership roles, sales management experience, and relationship management
      • Life license and FINRA Series 7 & 24/26, required
      • Five years of demonstrated experience in a senior management role setting clear goals and direction, coaching, and developing diverse teams to create a highly engaging and productive work environment
      • Critical thinker with demonstrated experience structuring, tracking and improving KPIs using a data and metrics driven approach
      • In-depth knowledge of the insurance and brokerage industry and wholesale/marketing organizations
      • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to deliver important messages to key stakeholders and diverse groups
      • Ability to hold difficult conversations with Field Leaders and employees while keeping relationships intact
      • Relationship building skills and the ability to influence outcomes


      Preferred Qualifications

      • FINRA Series 6 & 63, 66
      • Knowledge of Transamerica products
      • Experience working with World Financial Group, Inc.

      Working Conditions

      • Office or hybrid office/remote environment
      • Extensive travel (50% +) domestic and international

      **Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules and other compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.**

      Compensation:

      The salary for this position generally ranges between $230,000-$320,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

      Bonus Eligibility:

      This position is also eligible for an Annual Bonus and Long Term Incentive, at a targeted percentage, based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance.
