      We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive individual to join our organization as Sr. Director, HR Compliance & Controls. You will ensure that our company complies with all HR-related laws, regulations, and policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR compliance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

      Location:

      · This position is a hybrid role, on-site 3 days per week at one of the following office locations: Chevy Chase, MD; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Fredericksburg, VA; Lakeland, FL; Tucson, AZ; Virginia Beach, VA

      Key Responsibilities:

      · Develop and implement HR compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

      · Monitor and assess compliance risks within the organization and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

      · Stay up to date with changes in HR laws and regulations and communicate any updates to relevant stakeholders.

      · Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR compliance matters, including employee relations, equal employment opportunity, wage and hour laws, and employee benefits.

      · Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify potential compliance issues and develop action plans to address them.

      · Collaborate with legal counsel to review and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation.

      · Develop and deliver training programs on HR compliance topics to ensure employees are informed and aware of their responsibilities.

      · Maintain accurate and complete records related to HR compliance activities.

      · Serve as the main point of contact for external audits and regulatory inspections related to HR compliance.

      Qualifications:

      · Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

      · Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HR compliance, with a focus on employment law and regulatory compliance.

      · Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws and regulations.

      · Proven experience developing and implementing HR compliance programs and policies.

      · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

      · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

      · Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and complete records.

      · Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.

      · Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) are preferred.

      Annual Salary

      $195,000.00 - $315,000.00

      The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
