A senior leadership role reporting directly to the GI CIO and partnering alignment with the Claims executive and team
A pivotal role in connecting the Claims function with technology solutions and claims delivery
Responsible for all aspects of a CIO team, from developing and maintaining the IT Roadmap, which is aligned to both the Claims and IT strategies through to ensuring IT service is delivering to meet our customer needs
Responsible end-to-end for IT Run and Change budgets for claims
The key buyer for shared IT services for cloud, hosting, AD&M and more
Extensive knowledge of insurance, markets and products (specialising in claims) and demonstrable experience of all areas of IT and business change delivery, including IT strategic design, planning and execution covering AD&M, digital, data, infrastructure and hosting, cloud, risk and control management, IT security, IT suppliers and vendors, project and programme delivery, and end to end financial management of more than £10 million
Highly experienced leadership, skilled in leading and inspiring virtual and distributed teams effectively, comfortable working at pace with resiliency in a matrix model. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A curious and proactive approach, with problem-solving and creativity abilities in crafting workable solutions and responding to urgent business needs. You'll also need a good balance of technical and change delivery experience
Work in partnership and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders (including executives and strategic partners), with strong influencing skills to challenge and inspire change and lead innovation in the way in which we deliver ground-breaking outcomes
Experience of Operational Resilience
Salary nationally (Norwich, York, Perth or Bristol) £90,000 - £120,000, London - £90,000 - £130,000) depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
Bonus opportunity - 25% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

We are looking for a high-reaching Head of IT Business Partnering to provide Technology & Change leadership, critical thinking and tech delivery to Aviva’s General Insurance (GI) Claims business.
