We're in search of a "Head of Cold Rolling" to become a valued member of our team in Avesta, Sweden - one of Outokumpu’s largest stainless steel production sites. Avesta’s team has built on Outokumpu’s legacy of advanced material steel making and added the special grades expertise to serve the market with an unmatched passion for producing high quality stainless steel. The site in Avesta is an attractive connecting point, where you quickly become part of the team, know everybody, and are visible in the organization.

What to expect:

• Drive safety by implementing our safety principles. Our target is to ensure that we are the industry leader in safety. In 2022 we reached the strongest year on record with total injury frequency rate of 1.8 (per million working hours)
• Shape the future of Cold Rolling Shop by defining a 3-year roadmap for cold rolling operations as a crucial player in the operational management team.
• Run the show by leading operations to deliver and achieve the plan and KPI’s on short and long-term basis.
• Lead a motivated team of approximately 200 employees with inspiration and authenticity. Foster a culture of achievement, development, and support.
• Innovate and continuously improve processes, collaborating intensively on large-scale projects. Manage resources effectively, considering cross-team maintenance capacities.

What you bring along:

• A successfully completed university degree in Engineering, Process Chemistry or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and 2 years of experience in leading leaders
• Excellent leadership skills
• Business acumen and good communication and collaboration skills.
• Good analytical skills and understanding for change management principles.
• Fluent in English – Swedish is considered as an advantage.
